TRAIN 2005
Sam, now aged 2, is obsessed by trains.
All the good trains I could find in toy shops said 'not for children
under 36 months' so I decided to spend a few days making him our
local train, big enough for all his furry animals. I couldn't
find any photos but it was more fun trying to do it from memory.
It runs on castors and the doors open by turning a
lever in the cab and a switch turns on the white LED headlights.
He was so delighted by it that he wouldn't let it out of his sight
all christmas day, and finally tried to go to sleep on top of
it. On boxing day he worked out a way of squeezing himself
inside it
Very, very satisfying!
