SECRET LIFE OF THE HOME (1995)
(Gallery about machines around the home at the Science Museum, London)
I spent 2 years designing and building this gallery. For a written account see:
An initiation to museum design

The general views of the gallery don't look anything special, partly lack of money, mainly because I was more interested in the detail - thinking what to do with every object in this wonderful collection.

1930s AUTOMATIC DOOR
This didn't really have much place in a gallery about the home, but it was one of my favourite exhibits in the children's gallery, (I was fascinated by it as a child). It was removed to make space for the education centre while I was working there.
There seemed a certain logic about it being the entrance to the locks gallery.
